The installation processes animal fats as well as vegetable oils, and enables the production of stearin, glycerine and distilled fatty acids. The fatty acids are converted into stearin, which will be subsequently used among others in the industries of plastics, tires, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, mining and chemistry, for the production of rubbers, detergents, candles and softeners, complying with the requirements of European regulations on safety chemistry. The SC250 variable area metal tube flowmeters, are used for measuring the flow of fatty acids and the acid water. Equipped with 4-20 mA HART ™ protocol transmitters, the SC250 flowmeters of Tecfluid help to maintain the required process conditions.
This series is particularly suitable for flow measuring under extreme temperature and pressure conditions and has high resistance to corrosion.

The LTL14 level indicators by magnetic coupling between the internal float magnet and the external indicator system, provides in this case local indication by means of magnetic strips, ensuring a complete sealing system with no possibility of leakage. They are installed in tanks of iron chloride and hydrochloric acid to provide a visual level control of the process fluids.
