How to replace the glass tube of our 2000 Series flowmeter:
There is always the possibility of breaking the glass tube of the flowmeter; the float can be projected suddenly against the top of the glass tube due to presence of air pockets during system start-ups or commissioning and hit the tube breaking it … fortunately the 2000 series has a protective plastic cover for these cases, In order to avoid that the pieces of glass of the tube go out fired and can hurt an operator that is working nearby.

To order the replacement of the glass tube, the ideal is to supply the serial number of the flowmeter. With this number, which is found on the instrument label, we can perform the traceability fairly quickly and supply the correct tube for the exact conditions of the application.
Without the serial number it will be necessary to specify the conditions for which the tube has been calibrated, such as fluid, pressure, temperature, density, viscosity and flow range.

The replacement of the tube includes the float and the stops. Gaskets can also be supplied if they are not in good condition yet.
