This new compact XL1 converter has digital signal processing for accurate and reliable measurements. It is used to measure the flow rate of conductive liquids and complements the versions of Tecfluid’s electromagnetic flowmeters FLOMID series (in line) and FLOMAT series (insertion) with XT5 and MX4 converters.
The XL1 converter is especially indicated for applications of treatment and distribution of drinking water or wastewater where the measurement in several points of these systems allows the detection and reduction of possible leaks, it is also suitable for applications in the pharmaceutical, food, petrochemical, paper, automotive, of processes industries…
With an IP66/67 coated aluminium enclosure, robust and with high mechanical resistance, this converter offers a very good accuracy when transmitting pulses with respect to volume. The output quality means that no pulses are lost and therefore no volume is lost, making the remote volume reading much more accurate.
The signal processing against ground / residual currents has been improved to provide a more stable reading.
It has an analog output with 4-wire system power supply and an optoisolated pulse output, both programmable by user.
All the instrument parameters can be programmed via USB, with the software Winsmeter XL1 of Tecfluid S.A. available for downloading in this website, “Downloads” section. This associated software allows programming and adjustment of the instrument in a comfortable and intuitive way..
The XL1 converter is associated to Tecfluid electromagnetic flow sensors that can be manufactured with liners in different materials and with different process connections.
